Manual Firmware Update

Get the firmware for your firmware update from the link below:

!IMPORTANT!

• You can load only 1 software on the flash drive. That means you can update 1 firmware at a time. You can’t update the inverter and dongle firmware at once.
• To update the firmware you need GivEnergy flash drive (not your local USB) or any USB that is less than 4GB.

How does it work:

1. Download the firmware from the website.
2. Unpack the compressed file.
3. Choose the firmware that you need.
4. Load the Firmware on the flash drive.
   1. Remember that the flash drive needs to be formatted to FAT32 before.
5. Set the DIP switches to USB.

1. Put the USB into the inverter/Battery.
   1. For battery update plug it in the Battery.
2. Turn the inverter ON.
3. Wait until the beep stops and the Inverter to come back ON.
   1. There’s no beep if updating a battery.
4. The update is done and you can unplug the USB from the Inverter/Battery.
5.  Set the DIP switches to normal depending on the connection type.

Recommended if don’t have a laptop:

Put the Inverter Firmware on the USB. The rest will be updated via the commission page.

* When updating the battery, the firmware from the USB will disappear.
